Good Morning, Sweeties…It is Weight Watcher Wednesday, a new feature of VintageBeckyM. I have been following Weight Watchers for a while and just love it. When I joined Weight Watchers, on the board at my first meeting was a list of websites which featured weight watcher friendly recipes. I quickly wrote down the list and checked out all of them. My favorite was Skinnytaste. Gina’s recipes are Fabulous and her recipes have been a big help to me.
Spring is almost here. The temperature the last few days has been beautiful. It may soon be time to switch from soups to salads. I eat salad all year around but LOVE salad on warm (hot) summer days. When you talk about salad and you are watching your weight or are working on losing weight, you have to think about the dressing that goes on top of your salad. One of my favorite dressings is Ranch. It is great on salad, as a dip for veggies or baked chicken strips. Gina’s recipe for Low-Fat Buttermilk Ranch Dressing from Skinnytaste is excellent.
When I first joined Weight Watchers, I always told everyone I had over for dinner that I was serving a Weight Watcher recipe. I have stopped doing that and no one can tell the different. Not one guest has told me, something I served tasted like diet food or didn’t taste fat enough.
Please enjoy this recipe. Celebrate warmer temperature (if you are so blessed this week) and have a Salad. Have a Fabulous Day!!
