This is a piece I picked up on my last thrift shop run. I knew the minute I saw it what I was going to be doing with it. The Due Sorella Vintage Market is coming up on June 6th and I need to start getting ready for it. Since June 6th is a month away from 4th of July, I just had to give these stars the red, white and blue treatment.

This is how it turned out. I just love it. I can just see someone buying it to use for their 4th of July decorating. I gave it a primer coat of white spray white to make sure the black was covered. Then I painted it with red, white and blue acrylic paint.  I am thinking about giving a coat of spray sealer, but am going to live with it a few days before I decide. I can see from this close-up, I still have some touching up to do.

I love finding ugly ducklings and turning them into swans. This swan turned out great. What do you think? Piece #1 is done but I have quite a few more to do. I had better get to work. See you later. Have a Fabulous Day!
