Cucumbers

Good Morning Sweeties…How is everyone doing today? I had a great day yesterday. I watered the garden and my little patch of lawn. Noticed a little bit of frost damage on some of the roses from last week’s drop down into the 20s. Not too bad, they should be fine.

Nothing is blooming yet but I saw leaves are beginning to come out on the trees and the lilacs should be blooming anyday now. The seeds I planted last week are beginning to come up. Lettuce was looking a little spindly so I moved it to a different garden window. It will get more light and it is a bit warmer in that window so I hope it helps. Radishes are growing little crazy and the cucumbers are doing good. The sage, basil, lemon balm and echinacea are barely peeking out of the soil. The rudbeckias are not yet.

I love my garden windows and feel so blessed to have them. While all my neighbors are waiting to start their gardens, I have a bit of a head start. It makes me happy to see the seeds poke up their little green heads. Life is good!!

Tomorrow, the weather is suppose to be nice again so I am planting a rose bush. I am going to drawing up the plan for vegetables, what I am going to plant and where. I have been thinking about it ever since the first seed catalog came this winter. It is time to make a final and definite plan.

How is your garden coming along? What are you planting this year? Gardening is a touch of heaven to me. Talk to you soon. Have a Fabulous Day!

God Bless You and Yours;

Becky
