Welcome to Vintage Becky M.
Good Morning, Sweeties….Come in, Grab a cup of coffee or tea and Sit awhile. I am here to Share a little about Myself with you.
Sharing is caring and that is what we are going to be doing here at Vintage Becky M. I plan on sharing my Life here on Shady Tree Lane. Cooking, Gardening, Cleaning, Projects of all kinds (painting furniture, crocheting, crafting, garden projects and the things I am making for my Etsy shop: VintageBeckyM)
I am a Christian Woman. My relationship with my Lord is personal and Number One in my life. I could not have made it this far in my life without Him. He has been there every step of the way.
I am a Single Mother and Grandmother. Number Two in my life is my Daughters and their Children. The heart does not know Love until there are Grandchildren. I love my Daughters to the Moon and Back but Wow, Grandchildren are a whole new level of Love.
I Love the Holidays….Every Holiday. I Love to Decorate for the Holidays and Cook Goodies. I have been changing the way I eat, so I am working on making our traditional holiday goodies fit in to my plan. More about that later.
I Love to Garden. My yard is not big, but I am packing a lot into it. I have lived here almost a year, I am still learning the sunny areas and the shady areas and what to plant where. Winter is here (it snowed a little this morning), so the garden is hibernating now. Come Spring, I will be sharing a lot more.
I am always making something…a blanket for a grandchild, something for my shop, a gift for a friend or decorating the front porch. I will be sharing my projects with you.
I live in Beautiful Northern Nevada. Mountains, trees and desert all right here in my backyard. I Love It. The beauty here could only be made by God’s hand.
Color: for a long time, it was Purple. I am going through a Red and Teal period. They speak to my heart.
Subject: History. I have always loved history. I keep the Family History going along with some of my cousins.
Song: “What a Friend We Have in Jesus”. It was my mom’s favorite. too.
Book: I love reading and books. It is so hard to pick a favorite. I am re-reading the Classics.
Christmas Movie: “Miracle on 34th Street” the original. #2 is “The Christmas Story”.
Food: A really good steak and cheesecake. Oh and Lemon Meringue Pie
Have a Blessed Day
